Ranked #18 on Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Largest Corporate Philanthropists List
Sunnyvale, CA – 10/28/2024 – Star One Credit Union today announced it ranked #18 on the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2024 List of Largest Corporate Philanthropists in Silicon Valley, marking a rise from #20 in 2023. Star One is the highest-ranking credit union on the list and is among the largest companies in the country for total contributions to Silicon Valley charities.
In 2023, Star One proudly contributed $900,000 to 91 organizations, fostering meaningful change and strengthening local communities. “This achievement reflects our dedication to not just serving our members, but also investing in the well-being and growth of the region,” said Gary Rodrigues, president and CEO of Star One Credit Union. “This recognition highlights the collective effort we put forth to support those in need," he added.
