Same Day Transfers Terms and Conditions

I authorize Star One Credit Union to originate a one-time Electronic Funds Transfer transaction between the Credit Union and the other Financial Institution indicated on the same day transfer authorization form.

This authorization must be provided to the Credit Union by 11:00 A.M PST.

In order to revoke this transfer request, I need to cancel through Online/Mobile Banking by no later than 11:00 A.M PST (same day).

I understand that in cases where the initiated ACH debit or credit is returned due to insufficient funds, uncollected funds, account closures, stop payment, etc., a $15.00 fee per return will be assessed to my account at Star One Credit Union.

If a credit transaction is returned prior to the debit transaction posting to my Star One Credit Union account, I understand the returned funds will be placed on hold for one business day to allow for posting of the debit transaction.

Same Day Transfer transactions are subject to the following limitations:

  • $25,000 per day
  • $500 per day for seven (7) calendar days for new accounts (open less than (30) thirty calendar days)
  • $500 for first 48 hours to new recipient

All Electronic Funds Transfers are subject to review pursuant to OFAC Regulations and the terms of the Membership and Account Agreement. Some restrictions apply; all requests are subject to approval.

I understand that transfers I initiate through Star One Credit Union are posted based on the receiving financial institution's posting schedule.
